Who we are

SimplerWebs is a web design, SEO and digital marketing agency based in Algiers. We work remotely with businesses all over Algeria, whatever their wilaya.

The SimplerWebs name is new in Algeria, but the team behind it has been building websites and doing SEO and marketing for nearly 30 years, including for the US market. You can read the story and approach of the SimplerWebs team before you apply.

Our results are public, and anyone can check them. The site we built for Comfy Mattress, a mattress shop in Algiers, scores 100/100/100/100 on Google PageSpeed. Prayer Travel Services, a travel agency in Bir Mourad Raïs whose website and SEO we did, is #1 in local Google results for its main searches. You'll find both in our website projects in Algeria.

Now we want to reach more businesses, in more wilayas. That's why we're looking for sales reps who know their town and are good with people.

The job in a few words

Your job is to find businesses that need a website, SEO or digital marketing, talk with their owners, and then connect them with our team. In French this role is often called "apporteur d'affaires": you bring in the client, and we do the work.

You won't build websites or do any SEO yourself. Our team writes the detailed quote, builds the site, handles the SEO and does the follow-up work. Your part is the relationship: the first conversation, explaining things, following up, and staying in touch once the client has signed.

The job is remote. You work from home, in your own wilaya, at the hours that suit you. You can drop by the shops in your neighborhood, make calls, send WhatsApp messages, or reach businesses on LinkedIn and Facebook.

It's an independent collaboration paid only by commission, not a salaried job. We sign a written agreement together before you start.

What you'll do day to day

In practice, a normal week looks like this:

  • Spot businesses that need to be seen online: shops, craftspeople, restaurants, doctors, lawyers, schools, producers. In your wilaya, and online too.
  • Start real conversations in person, by phone, on WhatsApp, LinkedIn or Facebook. Always politely, one message at a time, never mass messages.
  • Listen to the owner to understand where they stand: how clients find them today, what's missing, what worries them.
  • Explain our services and public prices in simple words, for example professional website design or month-by-month SEO.
  • Book a free call with our team, or pass the contact to us with a short summary of what they need.
  • Follow up with interested people at the right moment, without pushing.
  • Keep a simple list of your contacts and where each one stands: contacted, interested, quote sent, client, not interested.
  • Stay in touch with the clients you brought in. A client who feels looked after has more reasons to stay, and their monthly payments keep earning you commission.

What you'll offer businesses

You don't need to learn it all on day one, because we train you on every service. Here's an overview, with the starting prices published on our site. For each project, our team then sends the client a written quote in dinars.

One-page website

34,900 DA, one-time

One clean, fast page with a contact form. For a small business that wants to finally show up online.

Essential Showcase website

49,900 DA, one-time

Three pages (home, services, contact), same quality as Pro Showcase. A good fit for an owner who hesitates on price.

Pro Showcase website

89,900 DA, one-time

Up to about 6 pages, very fast on mobile. It's the plan businesses ask us for most.

Online store (e-commerce)

From 219,900 DA

Product and category pages, ready for local payment. For businesses that sell products.

Business Site and custom builds

From 149,900 DA and 449,900 DA

A fuller site with content the owner manages, or advanced custom features.

Redesign, Android app, SaaS website

From 79,900 DA, 199,900 DA and 199,900 DA

A refresh of an existing site, an app for clients' phones, or a site that explains a software product.

Monthly SEO

19,900 DA to 63,900 DA per month

Three plans (Local Starter, Growth, Pro / E-commerce) to climb on Google, month after month.

Google Business Profile

Optimization 12,900 DA, creation 15,900 DA (included with Pro Showcase). Optional management: 7,900 DA per month

Setting up and optimizing the profile that puts a business on Google Maps, with optional monthly management.

Maintenance and social media marketing (SMM)

Maintenance from 28,900 DA per year. Social media: by quote

Yearly upkeep so the site stays fast and secure, and managing Facebook and Instagram pages so the business stays visible where its clients are.

Who we're looking for

The quality we care about most is people skills. Business owners buy from someone they trust. We want people who listen, stay friendly even when the answer is no, and keep their word.

If the list below sounds like you, you already have what matters most. We'll teach you the rest.

  • You communicate well, out loud and in writing, and you can explain things simply.
  • You're friendly and patient, and you listen before you talk.
  • You have a client service mindset: you really want to help the business in front of you.
  • You're honest. When a service isn't right for someone, you tell them.
  • You're reliable: you follow up and show up for your appointments without anyone reminding you.

What's required

To apply, you need these six things. They're the same for women and men.

  • Excellent people skills. This matters more than anything else on this list.
  • Speaking and writing at least one of these languages fluently: Arabic, French or English. You can speak Darja on the phone with business owners, but your written messages to clients must be in Arabic, French or English. Our team talks with you in any of these three languages.
  • A smartphone with WhatsApp, and internet access.
  • Being 18 or older.
  • Being available for a call with our team, by phone or on WhatsApp, before you're selected. We talk with every applicant: nobody is hired through text messages alone.
  • Agreeing to our working rules: no spam, no false promises, no Google ranking guarantees, and no price changes without our written OK.

Nice to have (not required)

These will help, but we won't turn anyone down for missing one.

  • Spoken Darja. Most business owners speak it, and a call in their own language puts everyone at ease.
  • A second language among Arabic, French and English. English, for example, helps you, and us, reach businesses that want an English website to talk to clients abroad, the way SimplerWebs does.
  • Some sales experience, even a little: retail, client service, phone work, door to door.

What we give you

You won't be on your own. Before you start, you go through a short training. After that, one person on our team is your contact for questions and for every client you bring in.

We don't train you to do SEO or marketing work, because that's our team's job. We teach you to explain those services in plain words, so a business owner understands what they're buying.

  • Our services and prices, and which kind of business each one suits.
  • How to understand what an owner needs, with the right questions to ask.
  • Answers to the questions and doubts clients raise most often.
  • What never to promise, and why.
  • How to hand a contact to us so our team picks it up without losing anything.
  • Material you can share right away: our public website and SEO prices, our real case studies and our service pages.
  • Flexible hours. Since the work is remote and paid by commission, you plan your own time.
  • Recurring commission: every SEO or monthly-management client earns you money on each payment, for as long as they stay with us.

Objections you'll hear, and how to answer them

Many business owners in Algeria believe a Facebook page is enough. They watch every dinar, and the idea of spending money to make more money isn't common yet. You'll hear this a lot, and that's fine.

Most businesses in Algeria sell products. The Pro Showcase website is the plan we recommend most often, yet many owners hesitate once they see the price and stay on Facebook. Your job is to take that doubt seriously and answer it with facts.

To prepare, read our article why a Facebook page is not enough for a business in Algeria. You can also send it to an owner who's on the fence. Here are the objections you'll hear most, with honest answers you can use.

"I already have a Facebook page. That's enough."

Keep it, it's useful. But when someone types your trade and your town into Google, they mostly see websites and Google Business Profiles. A website gets you found where people search, and it belongs to you. A Facebook page can lose its reach or get blocked overnight.

"It's too expensive for me."

The website is paid once, in dinars, at a price written down in advance. Ask the owner what one extra client a month brings in, then compare that with the price of the site. Let them do the math with their own numbers.

"Another agency is cheaper."

Our prices are public, so anyone can check and compare. Compared with other agencies in Algeria, they're affordable for professional work. Suggest the owner ask the other agency who will own the domain name, what the quote includes, and what happens after launch.

"Does this really work?"

Show real cases. Prayer Travel Services, a travel agency in Bir Mourad Raïs, is #1 in local Google results for "agence pour Hajj Bir Mourad Raïs". The site of Comfy Mattress, a mattress shop in Algiers, scores 100/100 on PageSpeed, and the owner says his Google profile already brings in more phone calls.

"Who will own the website?"

The client does. The domain name and every login are in their name, because the site belongs to them. That's a real difference from a page that lives on Facebook.

"How soon will I be first on Google?"

Nobody can promise a position or a date, and you must never do it. SEO builds up over several months of steady work. You can show what we achieved for others, without promising the same result.

"How do I pay?"

In dinars, with local methods: bank transfer, BaridiMob or CCP, Edahabia or CIB card, or cash. Never in foreign currency.

"I'll think about it."

Respect that. Offer a free, no-commitment call with our team to answer any last questions. Write down a date to get back in touch, then follow up politely.

"My nephew can build me a site for free."

That's possible, and it's kindly meant. Just ask who will look after the site a year from now, when it needs updates or the domain name needs renewing. With us, the domain is in the client's name, the price is written down in advance, and a team stays reachable after launch.

The ground rules

In every conversation, you speak for SimplerWebs. These rules apply to all our sales reps, no exceptions, and they also protect the clients you bring in.

  • No spam: no mass messages, no copy-pasted comments under other people's posts, no endless follow-ups.
  • No false promises. You describe our services as they really are.
  • Never guarantee a Google ranking, and never give a date for being "first".
  • Never change our published prices, and never give a discount without our written OK.
  • Represent SimplerWebs politely, in person and online, even when someone says no.
  • When you don't know the answer to a question, say so and pass it on to our team.

One sale, from first contact to payment

Here's how a typical sale goes, step by step. Some close after one conversation, others take a few follow-ups.

  1. 1

    You spot a business

A shop with no website, a craftsman you can only find on Facebook, a practice missing from Google Maps. You note its name and contact details.

  2. 2

    You start the conversation

By stopping by, by phone, or with a personal WhatsApp message. You introduce yourself and ask how clients find them today.

  3. 3

    You listen and explain

You understand what they need, then present the service that fits, with its public price.

  4. 4

    You hand it over

You book a free call with our team, or send us the contact with a short summary of what they need.

  5. 5

    Our team calls the client

We contact the client to understand the project better. We answer any questions they haven't asked yet, and we agree with them on what needs to be done.

  6. 6

    Our team sends the quote

The client gets a clear written quote in dinars that matches exactly what we agreed on together. You stay in touch and follow up if needed.

  7. 7

The client pays, you get paid

As soon as their payment reaches us and is confirmed, we pay your commission by CCP, BaridiMob or bank transfer.

  8. 8

    You stay in touch

For monthly or yearly services, you earn your commission on every payment, for as long as the client stays with us.

Is this right for you?

Being paid by commission means your income depends on the clients you bring in. No sale means no commission, and some months can be quiet, especially at the start.

On the other hand, every SEO or monthly-management client keeps earning you money for as long as they stay with us. The more SEO and marketing clients you bring in, the more those monthly commissions add up.

It's a good fit if...

you enjoy talking with people, you know the businesses around you, you want flexible work you plan yourself, and you're comfortable with income that depends on your results.

It's probably not for you if...

you need a fixed salary every month, you don't like following up with people, or you'd be tempted to promise anything just to close a deal.

How much you earn: the commissions

You earn 15% once on every website project you bring in: one-page site, Pro Showcase, Business, custom build, online store, redesign, Android app or SaaS website. The commission is paid once the client has paid for the project.

You also earn 10% of every recurring payment: monthly SEO plans, monthly Google Business Profile management, yearly website maintenance, social media management and so on. Every month or every year, for as long as the client stays with SimplerWebs.

The more SEO and marketing clients you bring in, the more your monthly commissions add up. Everything is paid in Algerian dinars (DA). The table below works out your commission on our public prices.

  • You're paid as soon as the client's payment reaches SimplerWebs and is confirmed. There's no waiting period. We pay in dinars, by CCP / BaridiMob or bank transfer.
  • For "from" prices, your commission follows the amount the client actually pays, as written in their quote.
  • There's no commission on domain names and hosting, or on ad budgets the client pays straight to Meta (Facebook, Instagram) or Google. That money doesn't go to SimplerWebs, so there's nothing to share.
  • For recurring services, your commission follows the client's payments: while they pay, you get your share. If they cancel, the commission stops too.
  • Example of the math (not a promise of income): you bring in 2 Pro Showcase websites and 3 clients on the Growth SEO plan, and they all pay in the same month. The 2 websites earn you 2 × 13,485 DA = 26,970 DA, once. The 3 SEO clients earn you 3 × 3,490 DA = 10,470 DA. That first month comes to 37,440 DA. After that, you earn 10,470 DA a month for as long as those 3 clients stay with us.
  • The commission rates are written into the collaboration agreement we sign together before your first client.
  • Many independents in Algeria declare this kind of income under the auto-entrepreneur status (ANAE card). This isn't legal advice: check your own situation with the ANAE or your tax office.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a salary?

No, there's no fixed salary. It's an independent collaboration paid only by commission: 15% once on every website project, and 10% of every recurring payment for as long as the client stays with us.

When do I get paid?

As soon as the client's payment reaches SimplerWebs and is confirmed, with no waiting period. We pay in dinars, by CCP / BaridiMob or bank transfer.

How much do I earn per client?

It depends on the service. A Pro Showcase website at 89,900 DA earns you 13,485 DA once. A client on the Growth SEO plan at 34,900 DA a month earns you 3,490 DA every month. The commission table on this page gives the figure for each service. See all our website and SEO prices

Do I get paid every month for SEO clients?

Yes. For SEO plans, Google Business Profile management, maintenance and other recurring services, you earn 10% of every payment, each month or each year depending on the service.

For how long do I earn recurring commission?

For as long as the client stays with SimplerWebs and keeps paying, with no time limit set in advance. If a client cancels or skips a payment, there's no commission on that payment.

Do I need sales experience?

No, it isn't required. Sales experience is a plus, but what matters most to us is people skills: listening, staying friendly and following up. We train you on our services before you start.

Do I need to know SEO or how to build websites?

No. Your job is to find clients. Our team handles the detailed quote, the website build, the SEO and the follow-up work, and we teach you to explain our services in simple words.

Which language do I need?

You need to speak and write at least one of these three languages fluently: Arabic, French or English. You don't need all three. Darja is welcome on the phone with business owners, but your written messages to clients must be in Arabic, French or English, never in Darja.

Can I do this alongside another job or my studies?

Yes, you choose your own hours. The work is remote and paid by commission, so you plan your time the way you want. If you already have an employer, just check that your contract allows it.

Do I have to pay any fees to start?

No, never. You pay nothing to apply, for the training or to start. If anyone asks you for money in the name of SimplerWebs, it is not us.

Can I do this job with only a phone, without a computer?

Yes. A smartphone with WhatsApp and internet access is all you need for this job.

Can I get information about the job by WhatsApp message?

Everything is on this page: the work, the commissions, the requirements and the steps. We don't answer requests for information by message, because we talk with every applicant by phone or on a WhatsApp call. Call us directly, by phone or with a WhatsApp call: we answer all your questions during that call.

Can women apply?

Yes. The role is open to women and men, with exactly the same requirements and the same commissions. You can work from home, by phone and WhatsApp.

Do I need a car or to travel?

No. A smartphone with WhatsApp and internet access is enough. You can meet shop owners near you if you like, or work by phone, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and Facebook.

Which wilayas can I work from as a sales rep?

Any wilaya in Algeria. This commission-based sales job is fully remote, and our team builds websites and does SEO remotely for businesses across the country, so you can find clients in your own town or anywhere else.

Is there a contract?

Yes, a written collaboration agreement, signed before you start. It isn't an employment contract, since you work as an independent. The commission rates are written into it.

How do I declare my commission income?

Many independents in Algeria declare this kind of income under the auto-entrepreneur status (ANAE card). This isn't legal advice: check your own situation with the ANAE or your tax office.

How to apply

You call us directly, by phone or with a WhatsApp call. Everything about the job is on this page, so please don't message us on WhatsApp to ask for information. During the call, we get to know each other and answer all your questions.

  1. 1

    You call us

By phone or with a WhatsApp call. We simply ask for your name, your wilaya, the languages you speak fluently and whether you have done any sales before.

  2. 2

If we don't answer right away

It means we're with a client. We'll call you back as soon as we can, so please stay available. If you miss our call, you have 24 hours to call us back. After that, your application is removed.

  3. 3

A short interview with us (required)

To get to know each other, answer your questions and see together whether the role suits you. You choose how: a phone call, a WhatsApp call, or a video call with your camera off if you prefer. We don't hire anyone without this call.

  4. 4

    The written agreement

We sign a collaboration agreement together, with the commission rates, before you start.

  5. 5

    A short training

Our services, our prices, clients' questions and how to pass a contact to us.

  6. 6

    You start

You reach out to businesses, with one person on our team as your contact.

Apply: give us a call

Important: answer our call or message within 24 hours

If we don't answer right away when you call, it means we're with a client. We'll call you back as soon as we can. If you miss our call, you have 24 hours to call us back. After that, we remove your application, and we can't reopen it.

We'll be honest with you: many people call us, then never answer when we call back or reply to our messages. Every unanswered call is time we can't spend with serious applicants.

This job is all about answering: us, and above all, clients. A business owner who calls and reaches no one simply calls someone else. We're looking for people who answer, call back quickly and don't let a message sit.

Can't talk right away? A short message is enough, like "I'll call you back at 6 PM." That works for us. Please call us only if you're ready to answer.

Call us with the button below, or with a WhatsApp call to the same number. The call takes a few minutes. We'll talk about:

  • Your full name
  • Your wilaya
  • The languages you speak fluently
  • Your sales experience, if you have any (it's not required)
  • What interests you in this role
