Comfy Mattress
How a mattress shop in Algiers went from invisible online to easy to find.

The context
Comfy Mattress is an independent shop in Algiers that sells mattresses, pillows, beds and bedding. The owner runs it on his own, and he cares about quality and fair prices.
The shop is in Sidi M'hamed, a little off the busy Hassiba Ben Bouali avenue. The street is quieter, so fewer people walk past and find it each day. To reach customers beyond that street, the shop needed a website and a real presence on Google.
At the start, the business had nothing online: no website, no Google Business Profile, no social media. People all over Algiers were looking for a good mattress and never came across Comfy Mattress.
The goal
- Get found by customers across Algiers, not just people walking by.
- Turn that visibility into shop visits and sales.
- Look as professional and trustworthy as the big brands.
What they needed
- A fast, professional site that shows each product well.
- A base for what comes next: a Google Business Profile, social media and videos.
- A site built with Google in mind and fast on mobile.
What we did
We built a site in French and English with Next.js and Tailwind CSS. Each product range has its own detailed pages: orthopedic mattresses, pillows, rolled mattresses, baby mattresses and bedding accessories.
Every page got the same care: technical SEO, content SEO, optimized images and structured data. The text is written in plain words, for real customers.
We also planned the next steps: the Google Business Profile, social media and product videos. Since then, our team has created and optimized the shop's Google Business Profile, added new photos and videos, and keeps managing it. The site, Google and social media now work together to make the shop known, even from a quiet street.

Picked for speed. A fast site works better for Google and for visitors, especially on a phone, which is where customers in Algeria are.

Why “No Data”?
The "Discover what your real users are experiencing" panel shows "No Data". Google only publishes this field data once a site gets a minimum number of real Chrome visits over 28 days. Comfy Mattress just launched and hasn't reached that number yet. It isn't a technical problem, and the data will come in over time.

What does the Google PageSpeed “SEO” score mean?
The Lighthouse "SEO" score (in the Google PageSpeed Insights reports above) mainly checks whether a page follows basic technical SEO practices, not its real ranking on Google. Google says so itself under this score: "These checks ensure that your page is following basic search engine optimization advice. There are many additional factors Lighthouse does not score here that may affect your search ranking, including performance on Core Web Vitals. Learn more about Google Search Essentials."
The site is new. Local SEO builds over time: the site, the Google profile and social media work together, and visibility usually grows month by month.
