We respect your privacy. Here, in plain words, is what we do with your data, no legal jargon.
Who is responsible
SimplerWebs runs this site and the data it collects. We are based in Algiers, Algeria. For any question about your data, write to [email protected] or call +213 06 73 33 35 92.
What the site collects directly
The contact form asks for your name, your email, and the service you're interested in. Phone and message are optional.
Newsletter signup only asks for your email.
For the contact form, we also keep the date of your request and your browser information (user-agent), only to spot spam attempts.
The tools we use
Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) measures visits and page views, with IP addresses anonymized. You can block it with a tracker blocker and the site still works fine.
Cloudflare protects the site from attacks and serves pages faster. On the contact form, its Turnstile tool checks that you're not a robot, without a classic captcha to solve.
Our mail server, which we host ourselves, sends the newsletter confirmation email and forwards your contact message to our inbox at [email protected]. It doesn't belong to any ad network.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to tell visitors apart, valid for up to 2 years.
Cloudflare sets a technical cookie (cf_clearance) when Turnstile checks the contact form, valid for a few hours.
We don't set any advertising cookies and don't use any retargeting pixel.
How long we keep your data
Contact form messages are kept for 24 months, enough time to finish any project discussion, then deleted.
Your email stays on the newsletter list as long as you're subscribed. It's deleted as soon as you unsubscribe, using the link included in every email.
What we never do
We never sell your data. We don't share it with ad networks, and we don't build any advertising profile on you.
Legal basis
Algeria doesn't have a law identical to the EU's GDPR. We still apply the same common-sense principles: we only collect what's useful, and we handle requests from clients based in France or elsewhere in Europe with the same data-respect rules.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data at any time. Write to [email protected] and we reply within 5 business days.
Data transfer outside Algeria
Google Analytics and Cloudflare process data on servers located outside Algeria, including in the United States, under their own security safeguards. Our mail server stays under our direct control.
Security
The site runs on HTTPS and sits behind Cloudflare, which filters a good share of malicious traffic. No system is perfect: if we ever discover a problem affecting your data, we will let you know directly.
