The context
Teaching of Islam is a personal project: an educational site that explains Sunni Islam clearly and with real sources, for beginners and the curious alike, in English.
The technical challenge was real: publish dozens of long articles, with Quran citations, sourced hadith, and precise Arabic honorific glyphs, without ever sacrificing speed.
The goal
- Publish long, sourced content without slowing the site down.
- Get found on Google for honest questions about Islam.
- Keep full control over the content through an easy-to-use CMS.
What they needed
- A headless CMS to manage dozens of structured articles.
- Correct rendering of Quran citations and Arabic script.
- Full technical and content SEO, page by page.
What we did
We built the site on Next.js with Payload CMS, giving full control over every article while keeping the render as fast and static as possible.
Every page follows a clean heading structure, full structured data (articles, breadcrumbs, FAQ), and careful technical SEO - including correct rendering of the specific Arabic fonts used for citations and honorifics.
The result: a content platform that can grow to dozens of articles without ever becoming slow.

- A Google PageSpeed score of 92 on mobile and 100 on desktop.
- 100/100/100 on accessibility, best practices and SEO, on both mobile and desktop.
- 3/3 on Agentic Browsing.
- Proof that rich content and speed aren't opposites when a site is built right from the start.
Why “No Data”?
The "Discover what your real users are experiencing" panel shows "No Data": Google needs a minimum volume of real Chrome visits over 28 days before it publishes this field data - it does not indicate a technical problem.
SEO on this site
This 100/100 reflects real technical and content SEO work - structured data and a careful heading hierarchy on every page.
What does the Google PageSpeed “SEO” score mean?
The Lighthouse "SEO" score (in the Google PageSpeed Insights reports above) mainly checks whether a page follows basic technical SEO practices, not its real ranking on Google. Google says so itself under this score: "These checks ensure that your page is following basic search engine optimization advice. There are many additional factors Lighthouse does not score here that may affect your search ranking, including performance on Core Web Vitals. Learn more about Google Search Essentials."
